Today for Music Monday we’re featuring local guitarist and singer, Ronnie Johnson. He is a local legend here in Charleston, as he has been playing in the Mount Pleasant area, specifically Wild Dunes, since 1986! Before moving to Charleston, he spent time playing music in St. Simons Island as well as Nashville, Tennessee. He also owns his own restaurant in Mount Pleasant called “Buddy Roe’s Shrimp Shack,” where the food is delicious but the live music is the main course. On the weekends you can usually find him playing at his restaurant where music lovers come to listen to great music and get down on the dance floor!
