These are just a few of the words that describe Pantone’s 2013 color of the year, Emerald.

Here at A. Caldwell Events we are LOVING this new trendy color! We have two main reasons that we’re absolutely lusting over this color: versatility and uniqueness.

There are many colors used in the wedding and events industry that should only be brought in as flowers or accents.  But, Emerald is a color that you can use almost anywhere!  You can use flowers with rich jewel tones to bring in the color or you could bring the color in through your bridesmaids’ dresses.  You could also use Emerald linens.  The possibilities really are endless.

Like colors that must be used sparingly, there are also colors that are used over and over…and over again.  There are certain color schemes that will always be chic: black & ivory, tan & coral, and the list goes on and on.  But when was the last time you went to an event where a bold, yet cultured color like Emerald was a major player in the color scheme?  The use of Emerald, or any other adventurous, jewel tone will set your event apart!
