Silver Linings

On gloomy, rainy days like the past few days we’ve had here in Charleston, it is important to find the silver lining.  It has long been said that it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding day, but I think that a maid of honor actually fibbed that to a bride to keep her from messing up her makeup on the big day.  However, one thing that is true on rainy wedding days is that the pictures ALWAYS turn out GORGEOUS!

This intimate fete battled gale force winds and a huge thunderstorm, but isn’t this picture to die for?

Spring 2012 was the spring of rain for A. Caldwell Events.  Almost every wedding we had threatened a downpour.  At this particular wedding, we had moved all of the chairs inside the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House for a ceremony.  Then, the couple decided they wanted to risk the rain and move it back outside.  We were more than happy to do so, and their pictures turned out wonderfully!
