While many brides opt to tie the knot during the summer months for many reasons (off-season rates, more vacation time, warmer weather and so on), those of us who are local to the Lowcountry know that a typical Charleston day in July or August can easily be pushing 100 degrees. Here are a couple ways to beat the heat and keep your guests cool and having a good time throughout the day!

Keep guests hydrated by having a beverage station available to guests throughout the evening. Throw in freshly cut strawberries, orange slices, and lemons for a few different options.

Like our wonderful couple last July, use programs as fans for guests to keep cool during outdoor ceremonies. Many rental companies also offer mounted fans inside tents, as well as large pedestal fans that can be draped and decorated.
