It is no secret that Charleston is full of beautiful, amazing venues for weddings!  Thousands of people  from all over the nation {and the world} flock to Charleston each year to take advantage of the variety of romantic locales.  Today, we thought we’d list some of our favorite venues in the area!

Lowndes Grove
Photography by Reese Moore.  We love Lowndes Grove for plenty of obvious reasons.  Perhaps it is the stately white house that greets you as you enter through the wrought iron gates, or maybe it is the sunsets over the Ashley River.

William Aiken House
Photography by Jennifer Bearden.  If William Aiken House doesn’t exude Charleston charm and character, I don’t know what does!  The balance of indoor decadence and outdoor beauty is what makes this venue so popular!

The Island House

Legare Waring House

Founder’s Hall

Cannon Green

Coleman Hall
Photo by Sally Watts.  We LOVE this venue for small intimate weddings!  The chapel on property gives the venue a traditional feeling, and the reception area is a perfect blank slate.  Not to mention the beautiful, luscious courtyard!
