What’s the next thing you think about once all the details and planning for the wedding are done?  The honeymoon of course!  Every bride and groom are different so every bride and groom will want a different kind of honeymoon.  Some prefer to go the tropical, all inclusive route and relax after all the hustle and bustle of the wedding.  Others want to see the sights.  And others want to have an adventure!  We’ve compiled three different inspiration boards to help our brides plan for whatever type of honeymoon they decide to go on!

If you’re going somewhere tropical for your honeymoon, you definitely want to beef up on your sun protection! No one wants to spend their honeymoon inside because they got too much sun the first day. The higher the SPF on your sunscreen, the better protected you’ll be!  A wide brimmed sun hat is a great way to protect your face and shoulders from the dangerous rays- plus you get to show off your new monogram.

If you’re planning on galloping around Europe like we all hope to do one day, there are a few things you will definitely need.  Absolutely dress comfortably- this cotton t-shirt from J.Crew is not only stylish but comfortable throughout your whole day of visiting the Lourve, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame!  Same goes for shoes, bring your most comfortable walking shoes with you because they will be worth their weight in gold once you get a few miles into your walking tour.  Invest in a Eurail pass so that you can easily hop around to all the different countries in Europe.  Last but definitely not least, make sure you and your honey indulge in some yummy wine or bubbles- it is your honeymoon after all!

Okay, so you’re the most adventurous kind of honeymooner.  You’ve decided to go on an African Safari for your honeymoon!  There is obviously some major things you are going to need to purchase.  But a few of the more fun purchases include some safari wardrobe staples.  And the best part is that they can transition into your everyday wardrobe!  This field jacket from Buckle is heavy enough to block wind and dust, but light enough to not weigh you down.  You’ll need major sun protection, so the hat and sunglasses will definitely come in handy.  Your feet will also need to be protected, so these durable Coach boots will do the trick.  And, let’s just suppose African food isn’t all that you expected it to be.  Bring a few of your own snacks to keep you from getting home sick (they don’t have to be animal crackers).
